About Jen Maiorany -
Real estate is a field that long fascinated me, even before I waded into its waters; as I learned about the housing market and property valuation, I became curious about how I might be able to help others meet their housing goals. Thus was a new career born as I combined my newfound interest with my lifelong career of helping others achieve their dreams.
As the former Director of MBA Career Management for the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, I have a combined sum of eighteen years' experience in human resources, leadership development, career counseling, and online teaching. In short, my experience in collaborating with a diverse array of people translates to invaluable real estate skills. Wound tightly through all of those skills—mutually beneficial communication strategies, unerring patience, integrity, kindness, adaptability, and work ethic—is the common thread of service. Helping people achieve their goals is my professional calling, making real estate a field that makes excellent use of my background and passion for people.
Although I was born in Maryland, I inadvertently ended up something of a cross-country traveler, living in a variety of places including North Carolina, Michigan, Massachusetts, and California before finally settling down in Tucson, which I've called home for over thirteen years. I like to think that all of my travels have broadened my perspective, and I can say pretty definitively that nowhere beats Tucson when it comes to sunsets, mountain views, and the star-speckled beauty of the night sky.
I'm not all work and no play, however! I always make time to unwind with my family and my three rescue dogs, Winston, Harlow and Piper. I also enjoy taking up DIY projects around the house, as well as exercising and reading whenever I can. Show me your dog pictures and I'll happily show you mine.
